Davina's curtains are hand sewn with a choice of either chromax sateen cotton or blackout lining and for those wanting a fuller weightier look interlining can also be added. Interlining is best described as a blanket layered between your chosen fabric and the lining. Its main purpose many years ago was to help exclude draft but nowadays, thanks to improved insulating methods drafts are seldom an issue and the interlining is purely aesthetic.
